Maher, a Bedouin officer with the rank of captain, fought in Lebanon and was seriously wounded. At Nahariya Hospital, the doctors fought for 10 hours and managed to save the leg.
Not only that, he is also a second-generation fighter in the IDF. His father was wounded in the first Lebanon war and disabled as a result.
